Pablo Di Prima was born and raised in Barcelona in an Italian family. Growing up in Spain with bright red hair, in a country where he was defnitely a minority, made Pablo feel set apart from the people. Trough acceptance he channelled these emotions into his work.
Di Prima’s work constantly explores and questions emotions: joy, the beauty of being different and how this creates subcultures and communities. Working across a range of media, including photography, film and painting. Within his work, Pablo Di Prima champions concepts, not specific techniques, and aims to follow a continuous vision throughout his portfolio, expressing that how he sees fit.
Afer moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins Pablo developed as a photographer and filmmaker. His clientele include Maison Margiela, It’s Nice That, Dazed & Confused, Levi’s, i-D Magazine, Paolino Russo, Vogue Italy, 1 Granary, Sang Woo Kim x W Magazine, Coach, MM6 Maison Margiela, Re Done and more.
