Argentina — Illustration
Marcos Farina is a freelance illustrator currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He got his bachellor degree in graphic design from the Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
He works mostly as an editorial illustrator for magazines, children’s books, book covers, posters, packaging design and illustration applied to objects. Simultaneously he works in personal projects.
His interest in handmade printing techniques is manifest in his work, since he applies concepts from silkscreen and woodblock printing into illustration.
He has taught at Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo since 2005. Nowadays he teaches Illustration at Daniel Roldán’s catedra.
