Brosmind is a studio based in Barcelona founded by Juan and Alejandro Mingarro in 2006. Their style is fresh and optimistic and always combines fantasy and humour. Their illustrations have been awared with the most prestigious international awards, like Cannes Lions, Clio, Eurobest, Graphis, Sol, CdeC, Laus, among others… They are the most published spanish illustrator in Luerzer’s Archive during the last ten years and recently were selected for Luerzer’s Archive Special 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide. The brothers have work for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Virgin, Gillette, Honda, Land Rover, Volkswagen… but their universe is not fully understood without their personal artistic projects, like Brosmind Army, Brosmind RV and Brosmind City.

He was raised in Rome, Paris and Madrid. He began his career as an art director. A few years later he switch into professional photography. Since then he has been awarded a World Press Photo in 2003, He was a finalist for a Visa d’Or in 2008, he has been a finalist at the European Publishers Awards in 2009, and got included in the American Photography 24 and 26 annual. Carlos has worked for National Geographic España, El País Semanal, Le Monde, D magazine, Marie Claire Frence, and The New York Times. Some of my work is featured by Reportage by Getty and he has published two books: History Seekers (Blur) and China Western (La Fabrica). Besides his personal and editorial work, he has shot campaigns both in still photo and video for clients like Nike and Vodafone.
